What to Expect

Sunday Worship

Our worship service begins at 10:30 on Sunday mornings.  You will find people in various types of dress from formal (suit/dresses) to casual (shorts and t-shirt), so come as you are!  Everyone is welcome!

Vision: Trinity United Methodist Church seeks to unite as members of the body of Christ to serve the spiritual and human needs of our community; to welcome all persons and nurture them toward perfection of faith and love; and to help our members discover, develop and use their spiritual gifts to love God and neighbor.

Communion: We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month.  Everyone in attendance is welcome to receive communion as we believe God loves and offers his grace to us even when we do not fully understand that love and grace. Currently, we are receiving by intinction where the server dips the bread and gives both elements those who are receiving. This is to limit who is dipping into the cup. There are also prepackaged elements (wafer & juice) available. The service is followed by a Communion Sunday Brunch in the Fellowship Hall for everyone in attendance.

Parking: You are welcome to park in the church parking lot or along any street in the Converse Heights neighborhood - just please be sure not to block the diveways of our neighbors.  Our overflow parking is in The Field (the grassy lot on the corner of Norwood and Mills).

Nursery and Children's Church: We have a nursery for all children 4 years old and younger.  And all children in 5K through second grade are invited to attend Children's Church. Up to 5th grade are invited to go to assist the younger children.
