Preschool Program Mission:

Trinity's Preschool Program is a mission of Trinity United Methodist Church. The preschool programs exist to provide quality childcare in a preschool program designed to promote social, intellectual, emotional and physical growth in a Christian environment.

Our goal is for the children in our care to:

  • Develop a healthy self respect
  • Grow to respect and care for each other
  • Learn to trust adults and peers
  • Gain independance and a sense of responsibility
  • Enjoy creative experiences, nurture a sense of security and a feeling of success
  • Mature in their development of gross motor, fine motor and language skills

 

Afternoon Preschool Program

Duration: Year-Round 

Hours: 1:00-5:30PM

   12:00-1:00 Pick-up from Westminster 

   Day School and Lunch Bunch Options 

 

Morning Preschool Program 

Duration: 12-13 weeks during the summer 

Hours: 9:00AM-1:00PM

Tuition

Tuition for the afternoon program is calculated as a monthly fee and is to be paid monthly in advance, by the 1st of the month.  A $10.00 late fee will be charged if tuition is not paid by the fifteenth (15th) of the month.  If your account becomes a full month behind, your child will not be allowed to attend Trinity until it is paid in full.  There are no refunds for illness, days missed or holidays.

Please make checks payable to Trinity Children's Center and either drop your check in the designated box or mail it to the church office at: 626 Norwood Street, Spartanburg, S.C. 29302.  Any checks returned due to insufficient funds will be charged a $25.00 fee. 

The Financial Secretary must receive written notification thirty (30) days prior to withdrawal from the program.  Parents are financially responsible for thirty (30) days of care following the date of written notice of withdrawal. 

 

Monthly Afternoon Preschool Program Fees:

 

Babies - 6 months to 23 months

2 days per week (Tuesday & Thursday)                    $214.00

3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)        $259.00

5 days per week (Monday – Friday)                         $311.00

 

Preschoolers - 2 years and up

2 days per week (Tuesday & Thursday)                    $203.00

Lunch Bunch and Westminster Pick-up (School-year Only)

          Lunch Bunch Only ($3.00/day)

Lunch Bunch Drop-In                                              $5.00/day      

Lunch bunch and pick-up payments are due at the beginning of each month with your monthly tuition.  Drop-in Lunch Bunch fees are due on the day the child attends.  Lunch bunch will only be offered if a minimum number of children have signed up. Drop-ins will only be permitted as long as numbers do not exceed required teacher-child ratios.

Please note that on dates that a Morning Option is offered, the lunch bunch option will only be available for children attending the morning program from 9am to 1pm unless otherwise specified.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN, REGARDLESS OF ATTENDANCE.

 

Sibling Discount

There is a $15.00 reduction in the monthly tuition for siblings of a child enrolled full time.  There is a $10.00 reduction in the monthly tuition for the siblings of a child enrolled three days a week and a $5.00 reduction for the siblings of a child enrolled two days a week.  There is no second child discount for children enrolled with a “holiday” status.  The discount applies to the lesser tuition amount.

 

Summer Morning Program Fees:

The Morning Preschool program is billed as a 12-13 week program, and must be paid in advance. The fee schedules for the program are as follows:

 

Babies- 6 mo. to 23 months

2 days/week (Tuesday & Thursday)                         $696.00/Summer

3 days/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)             $806.00/Summer

5 days/week (Monday-Friday)                                 $1,038.00/Summer

 

Preschoolers - 2 years and up

2 days/week (Tuesday & Thursday)                          $659.00/Summer

3 days/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)             $733.00/Summer

5 days/week (Monday- Friday)                                $965.00/Summer

 

Summer Early Bird and Lunch Bunch Options:

The Morning Preschool Program will offer an Early Bird option from 8:00-9:00AM.  The Early Bird fee is $3.25 per day. Beginning in  2018, the Morning Preschool Program and the Lunch Bunch option will be combined.  Parents should provide their child with a packed lunch.  The Lunch Bunch cost is included in the morning program tuition. 

You must commit to your preferred days for the Early Bird option in advance and you will be charged for the days you commit to whether your child attends or not.  This will only be offered if a minimum number of children have signed up.  Drop-ins will be permitted as long as the minimum number has already been met for that day and as long as numbers do not exceed required teacher-child ratios. The fee for drop-ins is $5.00/day, due on the day of attendance.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN, REGARDLESS OF ATTENDANCE.

Drop-ins

The Drop-in option is offered for children who are already registered for 2-3 days/week and who may on occasion need an additional day.  Parents must reserve a space by contacting either the director or lead teacher at least 24 hours in advance.  Drop-ins will only be permitted if space allows.  Fees for drop-ins are $23.00/day for each child.

Days missed by monthly enrollees may not be "made-up" on different days, therefore the drop-in fee will be charged if a child wishes to attend on a day for which they are not already registered.
